Holy Infant Paideia Admissions Process for New Families

The Admissions Process for Holy Infant Paideia Hybrid School is a discernment process for both the family and the HIP staff.  The foundation of the hybrid model is a mutually respectful collaboration of teachers, parents, and students.  At Holy Infant Paideia, we maintain the integrity of community by striving together to attain the intellectual and moral virtues, deepen our Faith, and inspire one another in the joy of learning. We join you in prayer as you discern!

1.   RESEARCH AND INQUIRE:

  • Take some time to familiarize yourself with the hybrid model and reflect on how it would benefit your family. Discern whether your family and your student(s) can fully commit to a community within the collaborative model.

  • Browse our website to learn more about our specific program: holyinfantcollecti.wixsite.com/paideia or attend an Open House or Informational Meeting.

2.   GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER:

  • Request and submit an interest form via email, holyinfantcollective@gmail.com. We will contact you at that point to send more information and set up a phone call or a visiting day.

  • Before your phone call or visiting day, review our HIP Student and Family Information Packet, solidify your important questions, and prayerfully consider with your student(s) and your family whether HIP is a good fit.*

3.   FAMILY INTERVIEW AND STUDENT APPLICATIONS:

  • Submit a family registration form and application paperwork for the HIP Staff to review.  (A non-refundable fee is submitted at this time.)

  • After paperwork is reviewed, a family interview will be scheduled. At least one parent and the prospective student(s) need to attend this meeting.

  • Admissions decision, additional paperwork, and level assignment will be communicated as soon as possible.

* As a small, private non-profit organization, HIP has limited resources for supporting students who benefit from major behavioral or academic accommodations.  An IEP, learning disability, special needs, and/or behavioral accommodation(s) does not disqualify a student from being considered for admittance to HIP; however, HIP is not required by law to provide extra resources to accommodate students.  Additionally, HIP cannot support a student who requires consistent behavioral correction or who does not respect the academic aspect of our community.
